Ran my first 5 km race (Greenville, S.C.) January 2004.
Ran my first Half Marathon (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) in February 2005.
Ran my first Marathon (Toronto, ON) in September 2005, raised funds for leukemia / lymphoma society.
Ran the Great Wall Marathon in China in May 2006, raised funds for the Arthritis Society.
Joined the board of Deacons at Faith Evangelical Missionary Church, January 2007.
Ran "Conquer the Canuck" 92 km trail race in Waterloo, June 2007, raised funds for Habitat for Humanity.
Became Head of Elders at Faith Evangelical Missionary Church, January 2008.
Attempted the Haliburton Forest 100 mile Trail race in September 2008, Raised funds for Diabetes Association (did not finish, left the race at 75 miles, 20 hours).
Participated in six medical, humanitarian, and evangelical mission trips to central America and Jamaica 2003 through 2014.
Finished the Haliburton Forest 100 Mile Trail Run in September 2009, 2010, and 2011 in under 30 hours, raising funds for Habitat for Humanity, and a hospital construction project in Romania.
Completed 8 ultra marathons in 2010 and 2012 to win two Norm Patenaud (Iron Person) Awards.
Placed 10th in my age group in the Ontario Ultra Series for the 2010 season, 6th in 2012, and second in 2014.
Ran 43 marathon-distance runs in 2011.
Ran in the Dirty Girls 48 hour trail run in 2012, 2013 and 2014 to raise funds for Water for People, 201.25 km in 2012, and 216 km in 2013 to win second place male, 225 km in 2014 to win first place male.
Completed the Petit Slam in 2014 (two 100 km runs, a 225 km run and a 100 mile run)
Placed third in the Trail Runner Magazine Trophy Series in 2014.
